Saptools talks about S&OP at the 6th SCL Forum 2018 Smarter supply chains

Saptools Consulting, we have had the opportunity to talk about SAP S&OP on the 6th SCL Forum “Smarter Supply Chains” in which 110 supply chain professionals from 23 different countries participated.

What is CSCMP Supply Chain Leadership forum?

CSCMP Supply Chain Leadership Forum is the platform to increase knowledge and opinions exchange with Global Supply Chain professionals.

The event “Smarter Supply Chains”

This event took place the 17th October organized by CSCMP Spain Roudtable, and its principal objective was “Smarter Supply Chains”.

The lecturers where Prof. Alan Waller OBE, from Cranfield University; Dr. Oliver Philipp, Panasonic Europe; Patricia Fernandez Wyss, MSF – Médecins Sans Frontières; Javier Gallardo, Portic Barcelona; Luis Miguel del Saz-Rodriguez, Airbus; Ben Mahy, Supportsquare NV; Ada Antones, Bayer; Efrén Almansa , Saptools Consulting; Yasmine Sabri, Politecnico Di Milano y PHD Jorge Calvo, Globis Univ. Tokio.


Saptools took part of the event with the participation of Efrén Almansa, SAP IBP Project Director and partner of Saptools. He spoke about the “Enabling the S&OP Proves” case. Almansa, explained to the audience that the S&OP process is more than an agreement on a number, but the systematized and integrated consens between all stackeholders.

Finally he showed the benefits of implementing SAP S&OP/ IBP regarding the income increase, the increase in market share, the improvement in “accuracy” forecasts, the planification agility among other profitable results.
